A busy Titan weekend!

David and the Titans were a busy bunch the weekend of April 21. 

Friday, we hosted the CD release party for The James Beaudry Band and the debut of Ella Mental and the StraitJackets..  It was a killer night: the busiest one we've had in a long time. People were excited for both of these guest acts!

On Saturday, the Titans were proud to join Edmonton Band-Aid in support of Little Warriors.  It was a massive event with music from 3:30 until after midnight.

Lazy sunday

But not for the Titans!

We got our rock on, instead of the glam for the Oscars, at Richard's Pub in Edmonton.  The Joint Chiefs invited us as their guests and we put on a set of all new music from that forthcoming record.

It was a good show with an appreciative crowd, in no small part due to friends and family of the band who made it out.  Brad's parents actually got to see him play for the very first time!

Dave is working hard flogging his songs and the Titans in LA!

The first show at the Attic at The State Social House on Thursday night was a great success to an intimate crowd.  I personally love the discreet backup band. 

He also took a freshly mixed full band version of Shine the Light Down, which is being made into a video! Look for live footage from the Attic when it's released!

David is heading to Hollywood - swimming pools, movie stars!

In advance of the upcoming record, David is playing 2 solo gigs in West Hollywood.  Dave will be drawing his sets from Lucky 7, the upcoming record, and as yet unrecorded songs.

2016 was a great year for us!

Stretching out a bit from our home base at Titan Sound, we played the Rendezvous Pub, Sly's Pig Roast and the two shows with Econoline Crush. Of course, we continued on with our tradition of hosting and performing at our ever popular studio parties.  These events are a great opportunity for local talent to show their stuff in a friendly, welcoming environment.

David, as owner of Strong and Free Records, has formed an alliance with Econoline Crush and they will be recording some new music here in the first quarter, in support of the 20th Anniversary of the platinum record, "The Devil You Know". We're looking forward to seeing the band in Titan Sound recording this April.

Ziggy from Econoline Crush is joining us on the upcoming record. He's recording here as I write, adding a lot of lush, tasty fills to the solid rhythm and melody already laid down.

We're looking forward to a reprise at Sly's Pig Roast on the May long weekend and the Pembina River Nights Music Festival in July. In addition, we'll be hosting regular parties with the next one on March 17.
